Gulliver Park

Gulliver Park is one of the most original attractions in Valencia and a favourite destination for families with children. Located in the former Turia riverbed, within the famous Turia Gardens, the park is centred around a giant sculpture representing Gulliver, the main character from Jonathan Swift’s classic novel Gulliver’s Travels.

The enormous sculpture is designed as a giant playground. Visitors can walk and climb over different parts of Gulliver’s body using ramps, stairs and slides. The figure is surrounded by paths and landscaped areas, creating a fun and unusual environment where children can play while discovering the story of Gulliver and the tiny people of Lilliput.

The sculpture was designed by the Spanish artist and illustrator Sento Llobell together with a team of artists and architects. Its enormous size makes it an impressive sight even for adults, while its many slides and climbing areas make it particularly popular with younger visitors.

Gulliver Park is also a great place to take a break while exploring the Turia Gardens. Its location means that it can easily be combined with a visit to other attractions, including the City of Arts and Sciences, which is located further along the former riverbed.
