Teatre El Musical

Teatre El Musical, commonly known as TEM, is one of Valencia’s important cultural venues and is located in the traditional Cabanyal-Canyamelar neighbourhood, close to the sea. The building has a long history as a local theatre and cinema and was renovated in 2004 before beginning its current cultural project in 2015 under the management of Valencia City Council.

Today, TEM is much more than a conventional theatre. It functions as a cultural centre and meeting point for the local community, offering a wide range of artistic and educational activities. Its programme includes theatre, dance, live music, performances, conferences, exhibitions, circus and shows for children and families.

One of the building’s most distinctive features is its impressive main entrance, which is known for having one of the tallest doors in Valencia.
